It’s been nearly 3 years since my last eye exam and had one last week.
On the good side the oppticians think they can get me back up to nearly 20/20 on the downside post eye exam I can now barely see anything over a couple of meters away.
One of those things, when you notice something is that far out by being shown it, the mind can no longer unnotice it.
Lived nearly all my life with wonky vision and my brain adapts until it’s actually told something is wrong. My hearing has become hypersensitive, Matt Murdoch level.
i find it amazing how the brain adapts to sensory corrections but then when it knows something isn’t right will complain vigorously.
i’m having to limit my screen time drastically. I’m only writing this up because I need to get it out of my head. there may be typos, i can read the keyboard but the screen is a fuzzy mess.
Well in a couple of weeks I will be getting some brand new Zies lens fitted and all should be good. The headache will go and all will hunky dory.
i do love talking to specialists and knowing more than they do about the subject matter! ie me!
